The DropBeer legend tells of a fierce, predatory marsupial related to the koala that 'drops' on its prey.

Identification:
Around the size of an overfed Gold Coast pug. The creature is a heavily-built predator with strong forearms for climbing and holding stolen beers. It lacks canines using powerful premolars as tools to pop lids off mangoes. 

Habitat:
Closed canopy forests of suburbia are preferred. They can smell a freshly opened mango from over 3000 clicks and will aggressively take over other DropBeer’s territories in fierce battles.

Distribution:
DropBeers can be found in neighbourhood trees where prey is plentiful. Have been known to travel up and down the Eastern seaboard of Australia but prefer troppo conditions of QLD due to better sessions and easy-going humans.

Feeding and diet:
DropBeers hunt from above, by ambushing beers out of reach from humans at backyard barbies, parties and any other function where mangoes are present. However, some reports have been published of DropBeers learning how to open beer fridges in sheds in certain areas of the Sunshine Coast due to the age and slowing capabilities of the retired residents.
